Lynda Keene has been appointed Chief Executive and she fills the vacancy left when Paul Davis resigned in July after 16 years in the job. Ms Keene has spent 27 years in tourism, marketing, education and consultancy here and overseas. She is a former Chief Executive of Tourism Waikato.

David Smales has been appointed to this role with Origin Energy. The company has 6 power stations but is embarking on a rapid increase in generating capacity including major thermal plants as well as wind and solar power plants. David will lead the strategy development and implementation of the plan. David was identified in the UK as a result of an international search assignment conducted by Peter Browning and Alan Watt of Farrow Jamieson.
